            Why Babe Ruth League?
A simple question with a simple answer.  Above all else, Babe Ruth League, Inc. is for the kids!  In everything we do, our primary consideration is what is best for our participants.  Babe Ruth League, Inc. is the program where the player comes first.  We are rich in history, traditions and values with a classic, enduring quality that is hard to match.

Players

Valley Junior Babe Ruth 14 yr. old All Stars-

Players and coaches from Mountaintop and White Haven were well represented as they finished as the runner-up in the District 4 Babe Ruth All Star Tournament held in Pen Argyl.   The team recorded three victories; one against Blue Valley South, and two against Franklin Township, which qualified them for a two game Championship series with perennial favorite, Blue Mountain North.   The Valley All stars played very well, but Blue Valley utilized a deep pitching rotation and extensive tournament team experience to win the championship and move on to the regional state tournament.  Players from Mountaintop included; Michael Sweeney, Anthony Survilla, Jeff Engler, and Jesse Quintiliani, and from White Haven; Tyler Brynok, Shane Casey and Jacob Possinger.  The team was managed by Chris Sweeney, and coached by Lance Hornberger and Steve Brynok.   The Valley Babe Ruth league has ten teams from Drums, Weatherly, Conyngham, West Hazleton, McAdoo, Freeland, along with Mountaintop and White Haven.  Players 13 – 15 year old are eligible to participate in the 18 game season that begins in early May and extends into mid July with post-season play.
