May 14th – River Road at Mt Top Phillies
Although the Phillies lost to River Rd, the team had over 30 stolen bases and scored every inning! The Phillies scored 5 runs in the 4th inning.
Emily Van Fossen pitched 2 solid innings, made a tag out at home, had 3 stolen bases, caught 2 pop ups.
Morghan Murphy had an RBI single, 6 stolen bases, and scored twice
Makena Gormley had a single, 3 stolen bases, and made an unassisted out at first.
Kristen Andrews had 3 stolen bases and caught a pop up
May 17 Mt Top Phillies vs Kingston Red Sox
As the lights turned off in Kingston, the Mt Top Phillies left knowing they played their best game to date! The Phillies didn't waste any time capturing the lead and had a close game throughout. The Kingston Red Sox pulled off an 18-17 win at the bottom of the 6th inning.
Kristen Andrews pitched an awesome game with several strikeouts.
Sara Macko made 3 unassisted outs at first base and had 4 stolen bases.
Mackenzie Savner had 8 stolen bases.
